What if you quote me a certain price that I agree to and then once the design is finished you charge me more than the quote and I can’t afford it?
That, my friend, is the importance of me knowing your budget. If you order a website, blog, or ecommerce design or custom illustration, we charge a fixed price based on the details we feel your project needs to look it’s best. Your final design will NEVER exceed the price I quoted you for your project. If you do not provide enough information in your original quote request, I will ask for more detailed information before I give you a price quote for your design. Some of our services such as coding only or data entry are billed hourly. If you give us a budget, we will work until we meet that budget. Then, you may choose to have us continue at the hourly rate, finish the project yourself, or put the project on hold until you can come up with some more money.
How long does it usually take you to finish a design?
It usually depends on what the client wants, their time frame, and how quick they are to respond to emails regarding their design. If you want your design completely finished in two weeks and it takes you 8 days ro respond to the email send about your first mock-up, chances are your design will not be finished within those two weeks. Communication on both ends of his deal is ESSENTIAL. It generally takes me about a week or two for a blog design if the client is quick to respond. I typically do my designing during my son’s nap times and when he goes to sleep at night. If you are wanting something finished within a certain amount of time just let me know and I will tell you if I could do it or not!
Will you design my non-profit organization website for free?
I would love to… if I had the time. I do offer discounts for NPO’s and if I really dig your organization, I may go ahead and do it for free in my own time. That said, if you do want your website designed for a discounted price, you will need to be flexible on the deadline and if it is free, it will be designed when I have free time.
